Bacon's Rebellion

I came across an interesting post on Facebook yesterday. It was a screen shot of the statistics mentioned by Bacon's Rebellion two weeks ago, highlighting the fact that vaccinated people are seven times more likely to die from new flu variants than are the unvaccinated. There was no notice by Facebook on the post except for the usual link to vaccine resources.

This indicates that Facebook's fact checkers have gone through the post and found it to be neither missing context nor partially true; that the post is in fact entirely true. With a large number of people sharing the post, we can assume that confidence in the official narrative has slipped another notch among a number of people.

While it's possible that the Facebook post was created by the same guy that goes by the pseudonym of Bacon's Rebellion, I find this more likely to be an example of the network effect. People with similar interests and concerns listen to each other, pick up on things of note, and transmit it further through their own preferred channels. Bacon's Rebellion may prefer to post only in Zerohedge comments. I prefer to write things in my blog without broadcasting anything on Facebook. Others in turn, make screenshots that they shape into Facebook posts. Less dedicated people take part in this without knowing it themselves when they share their thoughts with friends and relatives.

The overall effect is an erosion of confidence in the official narrative. Compliance may remain unchanged, especially if there are heavy fines for non-compliance. But there's little conviction. Things look precarious. Sentiments looks increasingly set for a sudden flip from compliance to non-compliance.

This demonstrates the power of the network when combined with knowledge. The Zerohedge commenter hasn't called himself Bacon's Rebellion for no good reason at all. It's a reference to Sir Francis Bacon who famously stated that knowledge is power. The flip side to this is that ignorance is weakness, which in turn explains the desire by the elite to keep the population ignorant and themselves fully in the know.

The rebellious aspect of Bacon's Rebellion is his determination to push knowledge onto the masses through the network, and he's not done rebelling yet. Here's his latest comment, taken from this article about the booster shots being distributed in Israel in order to keep the latest flu variants from spreading:

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Israel Vaccination Statistics from The Lancet

Take away....
The Vaccine” failed to achieve a 1% increase in the survival rate between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.

6,400 total deaths since day 1 of Covid19
36 deaths under the age of 45
1,500 deaths were under the age of 70
76.56% of Covid19 deaths in Israel were over the age of 70
18% of deaths were OVER 90 years old!

1,127,965 people age 65+
1,015,620 were fully vaccinated
112,345 were not vaccinated

138 “vaccinated” deaths = 99.99% survival rate
715 “un-vaccinated” deaths = 99.36% survival rate

>> 0.63% greater survival rate in the vaccinated group.

1,764,098 people age 45 to 64
1,408,492 were fully vaccinated
355,606 were not vaccinated

14 “vaccinated” deaths = 99.99% survival rate
125 “un-vaccinated” deaths = 99.97% survival rate

>> 0.02% greater survival rate in the vaccinated group.

3,646,848 people age 16 to 44
2,290,820 were fully vaccinated
1,356,028 were not vaccinated

0 “vaccinated” deaths = 100% survival rate
36 “un-vaccinated” deaths = 99.997% survival rate

>> 0.003% greater survival rate in the vaccinated group.

This is a bit disingenuous because the virus was less than one percent deadly in the first place, so it's clearly impossible to achieve a full one percentage point benefit from the vaccine.

It can still be argued that the vaccine was effective in reducing the spread of the virus. However, the above numbers do not include death and illness from the vaccine itself. Furthermore, they relate to the first wave. The new variants are known to be more deadly for vaccinated people.

All things considered, we must conclude that the vaccine is useless unless the vaccine is hugely effective against the spread of the virus, which it appears that it isn't. Otherwise, there would be no need for booster shots.

On the plus side, we can note that the flu isn't all that deadly for anybody, and the need for booster shots indicate that the vaccine does not remain in the body for ever, as I've feared. Our bodies are able to remove the vaccine over time, restoring our health in the process. Young women who become sterile from the vaccine may regain fertility. Like the flu itself, the vaccine doesn't seem to have the power that many believe. They are examples of poor engineering, based on incomplete knowledge and understanding of the complexities that make up the world.
