Now that the virus has been classified as no more harmful than a regular flu by Norwegian civil servants, Norwegian politicians have declared themselves victorious. They are out in force, congratulating themselves for their victory. Never mind that there are more people in hospital for the virus now than a year ago. The lockdowns, mandates and vaccines have been a great success.
It's time to move on. Norwegian society can reopen. Restrictions can be lifted. Freedom can return. There are smiling faces everywhere. The war is over.
Next thing on the agenda is to save our planet from global manmade warming, and I'm sure the politicians will be as successful in this as they have been with the virus.
