So, it looks like I was right in my prediction from September that the Monkeypox outbreak would be over by Christmas. The latest data update was back in November, when the outbreak had pretty much come to a complete halt.
However, Wikipedia seems to be of a different opinion. Their page on the subject has received a new name. It's no longer called the 2022 Monkeypox Outbreak. It's called the 2022-2023 Monkeypox Outbreak.
It appears that whoever's behind the information page is determined to keep the story afloat for at least a couple of more months, despite the outbreak being technically over. Just look at the graph of accumulated cases. It has pretty much flat-lined, meaning there're hardly any new cases:
