Changes in Sentiment

My wife had an interesting encounter with a general practitioner yesterday. When my wife told the doctor that she was unvaccinated, the doctor didn't say anything to encourage her to get the shots. The doctor's only comment was that my wife should be careful when around vaccinated people. The vaccinated can be ill without knowing it. They can be very contagious.

Later in the day, my wife came across a colleague who had just returned from a trip to Norway. He was raving about the fact that no-one asked about his vaccine status. Things were back to normal.

This is a far cry from six months ago, when people were militant in their observance of virus related rules, talked excitedly about the new normal, and looked eagerly forward to the vaccine. All of this is gone. People are tired of all the nonsense, and there's a growing awareness that the vaccine is best avoided.

Sentiments are changing at a rapid pace. For every official decree, there are millions of voices raising questions. Everybody knows someone adversely affected by the vaccine. The economic devastation caused by lockdowns and mandates is plain to see. More and more people are waking up to the horror show and wonder what all the fuss was about. So much death and destruction, all for something no more dangerous than a severe flu.
