The Wings of a Hummingbird

The reason Eagles have such large wings relative to their bodies, compared to the much smaller Hummingbird is that a larger body requires an exponentially larger wing size in order to generate enough lift for an animal to fly.

Yet the Quetzalcoatlus was a flying dinosaur the size of modern day giraffes with wings more reminiscent of those of Hummingbirds than Eagles. How could this be? How could it possibly have flown?
