Saturnists Always End Up Turning on Each Other

Inherent in the Saturnistic mindset is the idea of us against them, an idea that must ultimately fail because no two individuals see the world in the exact same way. It's always possible to divide a group of people into two groups based on individual differences. The saturnistic obsession with purity will therefore always lead to some kind of purge.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the Muslim World where Islam is the dominant ideology, but there are plenty of other examples too. The French Revolution ended up with a purge of non-conformists, and so did the Communists under Stalin. Whenever Saturnism gets a strong footing there is strife and violence.

Only when Saturnism is dormant and negligible can big changes happen without internal strife. The American Revolution did not end in a purge of disbelievers because the Founding Fathers were rational thinkers. The Industrial Revolution happened in the spirit of free commerce and Laissez-Faire economy.
