The La Palma volcano is still active, belching lava and big plumes of volcanic ash. However, the plumes are not as tall as they used to be. They hardly reach above the regular cloud cover.

The ash cloud can be seen skirting the clouds, stretching from the center, where the volcano is located below the clouds, and out to the right.
Using the theory that the height of a volcanic plume is indicative of how much energy remains in the ground, we can conclude that we've seen the peek of activity for now. There might still be a lot of lava and ash to be dispelled, but the eruption is about to fade and stop all together.
