The State as a Money Making Operation

My mother is one of those people that's deeply concerned about any return to normal. She hates the idea of people being out in the sun, enjoying life in the company of others. It just doesn't sound healthy to her, especially with so many young people now being hospitalized.

This last bit of propaganda was new to me, and sounded totally suspect. Why would young people suddenly be more susceptible to the plague now than earlier? Then I came across this article that details the story and points out that it's fake news. Young people are not suddenly more likely to get sick. They never got very sick from the plague, and there's no need to vaccinate any of them. Yet, there's now a concerted effort by the state and its minions to push the vaccine on people as young as twelve years of age.

The optics on this is horrible. Why would the state want to push this vaccine on so many people? However, there's no reason to be paranoid. My uber-cynical son reminded me that nobody in the state apparatus cares enough about our health, population control, climate, or any other issue to give a damn. It's all about making a quick buck from the monopoly power of the state. As for consequences, the only thing they may worry about is whether they might get blamed for ill effects. But the typical bureaucrat is such an expert at blame deflection that such worries are minimal.

This means that we can ignore all the chatter about a super evil elite hell bent at population control, and focus on the financial incentives instead. With laws protecting vaccine makers from litigation, vaccines are a sure fired money making venture. Kickbacks from this industry is therefore lucrative business. Politicians promote vaccines in return for campaign contributions and cushy jobs in the future. At most, we can add power as an extra dimension.

Politicians love to make others dance to their tune. They get a kick out of coming up with arbitrary rules and regulations. Mask mandates, detailed down to the way to wear masks while seated or walking around in restaurants are the sort of micro-management that gives these people great pleasure. Requiring a vaccine passport for the freedom to travel is another idea that resonates well with politicians. However, population control is probably off limits. There's something about killing and maiming people that makes even a bureaucrat think twice, especially with the sort of blowback that can come from such policies.

If there is evil intent behind the vaccine, it's hidden in the complexities of the plague's origin and relationship to bio-weapons. Conveniently obscured by the deceptive layers of warfare, politicians can rest assured that they won't be blamed for any future bio-weapon targeting the vaccinated. As long as they don't look too hard in that direction, they can claim in all honesty that they had no idea about the evil origins of the plague and its vaccine. In short, they risk nothing in taking full advantage of the power and money that comes with state sanctioned laws.
