The magnetic field of Uranus is not a simple dipole field. It is a complex blend of dipole ("two poles") and quadrupole ("four poles") magnetic field elements.
This means that there must be at least two major electrical currents flowing on Uranus, and one way to explain this would be to assume a hollow planet model where there is a charged outer atmosphere moving in one direction and a charged inner atmosphere moving in a different direction.
The two charged atmospheres produce two magnetic fields that are partly in opposition to each other. Hence the complexity of the overall field.

Saturnists Always End Up Turning on Each Other
Inherent in the Saturnistic mindset is the idea of us against them, an idea that must ultimately fail because no two individuals see the world in the exact same way. It's always possible to divide a group of people into two groups based on individual differences. The saturnistic obsession with purity will therefore always lead to some kind of purge.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the Muslim World where Islam is the dominant ideology, but there are plenty of other examples too. The French Revolution ended up with a purge of non-conformists, and so did the Communists under Stalin. Whenever Saturnism gets a strong footing there is strife and violence.
Only when Saturnism is dormant and negligible can big changes happen without internal strife. The American Revolution did not end in a purge of disbelievers because the Founding Fathers were rational thinkers. The Industrial Revolution happened in the spirit of free commerce and Laissez-Faire economy.

Molten Iron is not Magnetic
Earth's magnetic field is supposedly generated by a core of molten iron deep inside our planet. However, molten iron is not magnetic. Molten iron is not a good explanation for the existence of Earth's magnetic field.
Magnetic fields are generated by electric currents. These currents may be inside our planet, or in our atmosphere, or both. We know for sure that our atmosphere holds charge. We know that it moves rapidly. In other words, we know that our atmosphere generates a magnetic field. What we don't know is whether our atmosphere is the only source of the magnetic field.

When Bankers Rule The World
The French have chosen their new master, and he is a banker. Let us hope he does not mess things up quite as much as that other famous banker that once was in charge of France's finances: John Law.

Buying Shares Hand Over Fist
The Swiss National Bank (SNB) has further increased its holding of American shares. In order to keep the Swiss Frank from going up in value, SNB has printed Frank and used this to buy Dollars, which in turn have been used to buy American shares.
A consequence of this is that the price of American shares have gone up in response to a desire by Swiss central bankers to suppress the value of their currency.
This is presumably seen as well and good by the political elite and central bankers in America, since it gives the appearance of a healthy American economy. But the day will come when the Swiss central bankers find themselves in a position where they have to strengthen the Frank, and we will see the complete opposite of what we have seen lately. The SNB will start to sell American shares in order to get dollars for which they can buy Swiss Franks.
The flip side of today's artificially high stock prices is tomorrows artificially low stock prices. But exactly when tomorrow comes is anybody's guess. All we can say for sure is that prices are at the moment artificially elevated due to central banks interfering in the stock market, and that this will have to correct at some point in the future.

The Color Blue
It appears that the color blue has only recently gotten a name. Ancient documents have no reference to the color, and many conclude from this that we as human beings have only recently developed the ability to see this color.
However, an alternative possibility is that the color blue was very rare to see in the past, and that it was simply interpreted as a shade of green.
Today we have blue skies and blue seas, but that may not always have been the case. It is only due to the fact that our Sun emits white light that we have blue skies. If our Sun was a brown dwarf, our skies would be perpetually pink and golden, and there would be hardly any blue to be seen anywhere. Our oceans would be pink or wine colored. Even blue flowers would look less blue due to the color of the light shining on them.
Could it be that our Sun at some point in relatively recent history changed in color and brightness? Could it be that the Golden Age really was golden in the sense that everything was bathed in a pleasant golden light?

Monetary Sedative
The monetary stimulus currently applied to economies throughout the world is in reality a sedative. It makes change less urgent from what it should be, and the consequence of this is that economies that were already in trouble will sink further into trouble over time.
The super low interest rates that monetary stimulus brings signals to an economy that very little change is required. Pushed all the way down to zero percent, the message is that no change is required at all. Money can be had for free, and factories can be run down or abandoned without consequence.
Over time, a policy of monetary stimulus will lead to lower real wages and miss-allocation of resources. In general, money will be diverted away from productive activities that require labor and into speculative activities that require little or no labor.
With very little urgency to do anything, there is little incentive for concrete action. Why hire a person to do productive work if money can be had for free?
Do not expect real wages to go up before interest rates do the same.
