Using DuckDuckGo

A young female MP collapsed while holding a speech in Austria, only to recover a few minutes later. It was captured on camera. I found a video snippet of the event on YouTube. She starts off clear headed and calm. Then, as if out of nowhere, her eyes glace over and she sinks to the floor. However, I would never have found the snippet if it hadn't been for DuckDuckGo.

Google gave no hits. I tried all sorts of combinations, but nothing came up. So I decided to try this other search engine, and it gave a list of relevant hits, including the YouTube clip. Clearly, Google is no longer what it once was.

My guess is that Google deliberately filtered out the relevant hits. They have a substantial team of censors, and the current surge in Sudden Adult Death Syndrome is no doubt something they want to suppress. Many are rushing to conclusions when they see healthy people drop to the floor for no obvious reason.

Unfortunately for Google, rumors about people keeling over sparks curiosity. It's the sort of thing people search for, so when Google's team of censors hide this kind of information, it drives their users away. If Google keeps suppressing the truth, they'll soon discover how quickly popularity can fade.

It's easy to go to "settings" on a browser to change the default search engine. It takes half a minute. I've changed my default search engine to DuckDuckGo, and I suspect I'll be keeping it this way for a while before I consider changing my default setting again.

Charge Densities in Space

There are electric connections between our sun and its planets. This is visible in the auroras of Earth and Jupiter.

These currents are directed through the uneven distribution of charge within our solar system. Our sun is more highly charged than its planets. As such, it's a central node in a network, distributing charge out to its planets. The planets soak up the charge through their magnetic poles, which in turn lead to auroras, winds, lightning and geologic activities.

Comets are further evidence of an uneven distribution of charge within our solar system. Their tails come about long before any ice might be melting. They aren't jets of steam, as commonly claimed. They are jets of water molecules formed through electrochemical reactions. Charge differences between the comets and their environment are driving this process. Comets are constantly adopting to higher charge densities as they move towards the sun, and this causes oxygen embedded in the rocky surface of comets to fuse with hydrogen ions emitted by the sun. The result is a jet of water molecules.

Looking farther into space we see more evidence of electric currents.

Two opposing mechanisms are in play when it comes to currents in space. Moving magnetic fields and the ejection of plasma jets increase differences in charge densities, while the distribution of charge among planets and stars decrease these differences. The universe is constantly creating differences in charge densities that are subsequently reduced through a process of distribution. It's a never ending cycle.

Our solar system is moving at tremendous speeds through this uneven distribution on its way around the Milky Way galaxy. As such, our solar system is both a current with a moving magnetic field and a system in need of constant realignment with its environment. Its magnetic aura creates charge separation. But it's also soaking up charge or releasing it depending on the charge density in its environment.

Whenever our solar system crosses a transition zone in this uneven distribution, there's a shock to the system. Our sun flares up in an effort to equalize its charge with its new environment. This affects the planets, with auroras flaring up. There's increased activity in the atmosphere; stronger storms and more lightning. The earth itself is shaken, with an increase in volcanic activity. Even gravity changes.

We're not floating around on a planet disconnected from the rest of the universe, as is the model commonly used when explaining things. Rather, our planet and everything in it is connected to our sun and the universe. We're part of a huge interconnected eco-system that encompasses the entire universe.

Doing a Southwest Airlines

Rule one of civil disobedience is to not talk of civil disobedience. The same is true about being a sovereign. There's no point in talking about it. True sovereign behavior is to follow nobody's rules but ones own. A sovereign doesn't petition the state for anything, does not beg for anything, and does not give anything away freely. The sovereign acts, and keeps the talking to a minimum.

Once this is properly understood, all sorts of possibilities come to the forefront. We realize that we don't have to tell the state about our private affairs, and we don't have to follow their rules. Case in point is the debacle surrounding Southwest Airlines' vaccine mandate. Laws and regulations forbid pilots and air traffic controllers from striking. However, they are nevertheless striking. They're just not telling anybody about it. People are calling in sick and taking days off. They are moving slowly. They are dragging their feet. But none of this can be officially called a strike. There're no leaders. Nobody can be arrested because nothing illegal is going on.

A similar logic can be used for home schooling. There are all sorts of rules and regulations associated with this. It's at best a bureaucratic nightmare and at worst illegal, depending on what jurisdiction we happen to live under. However, there's nothing illegal about keeping a sick child home from school. Teachers are obliged to help in such situations. Parents can ask the teachers about home schooling while the child is recovering.

This gives tremendous flexibility to anyone willing to tell a white lie from time to time. With teachers petrified by the virus, we can call the school and tell them that our child has tested positive and that we think it better if the child is kept home for a few days. We can add that the child has no symptoms, in case the child is asked to participate in some online activity.

The asymptomatic virus infection can then be kept going for as long as we please, and we can ask teachers to suggest things to do to keep the child up to date on the curriculum. We can express frustration with the virus that simply doesn't go away.

The trick is to come across as conventional, friendly and helpful. With such a façade, there's almost no limit to what liberties we can take for ourselves.

Clouds and Volcanos

Volcanos have two notable features that suggest they are electrical in nature. Both features relate to the ash cloud generated by the volcano.

A striking thing about volcanos is the lightning that accompany violent eruptions. When the La Palma volcano blew out its side a few days ago, there were so many lightning flashes that Reuters felt a need to include the standard explanation for this in their news article.

According to standard theory, lightning comes about through air friction. Clouds build up charge in much the same way party balloons build up charge when we rub them against our hair. When sufficient charge is built up, we get a discharge in the form of a lightning bolt.

However, there's an electric gradient inherent in our environment. Earth is more heavily charged than the atmosphere, and the atmosphere is more heavily charged closer to ground than higher up. It follows from this that a large cloud of volcanic dust, tossed high up in the air, will be in electric imbalance with its environment. That imbalance, when sufficiently great, will naturally lead to lightning, so there's no need to introduce the notion of air friction.

Another thing to note is how volcanic ash clouds tend to hover, sometimes far above regular clouds. They find equilibrium in the atmosphere. The dust can linger there for days and weeks on end. Winds sometimes move these clouds hundreds of miles before the dust falls down to earth. There's no simple explanation for this in conventional theory. However, an electric model explains this easily.

Dr. Gerald Pollack contends that cloud layers are related to charge density. The more heavily charged a cloud is, the higher up it will be found. Furthermore, charge density is evenly distributed within clouds once they have completed their formation. That's why stratospheric clouds are flat, while newly formed clouds are bubbly and full of turbulence.

Taking a look at a volcano from afar, we see that there's a column of turbulent ash emitted by the volcano, and that this column changes into a flat layer as it ages. When the ash has cooled down, and distributed its charge within itself, it hovers high up in the air due to its high charge density.

A Walk in the City Park

We went for a walk in Porto City Park today. It's a large park tucked between Porto and Matosinhos. A walk along the periphery of it would take about an hour.

It's popular with joggers, yoga enthusiasts, picnic goers, and people out for a walk and some fresh air. As such, it's always been a place with much resistance to the mask mandate. Still, I was surprised to see that not even one in 20 were wearing their masks as recommended.

This has happened without any big manifestations. There was an anti-mask demonstration in Porto back in September, but that was so ridiculed by the pro-masking establishment that it only served to make things worse. The real force behind the park's successful return to normal has been the Portuguese culture.

The Portuguese are meek, in the original meaning of the word. When authority calls on them to do something, they follow then fade. This is a culture they've developed since Roman times. Even back then, the Portuguese were notoriously unreliable subjects. They would play along for a while before fading their loyalty into nothing.

Unfortunately, culture is not the same as intelligence. There's no thinking going on behind this behavior. The average Portuguese is not an intellectual with deep understanding of why they do these things. Hence, there are hobby-fascists everywhere during the follow stage, and the fade is erratic. Happy outcomes materialize out of nothing but a reluctance to do silly things over prolonged periods of time.

But it's nevertheless encouraging. Portugal has a culture well adapted to the sort of madness we're currently encountering. Other countries don't have this same flexibility. Germans are notorious order-followers. Italians are hopelessly feudal, with strong fascist tendencies. The French are always up for a fight. The US has a macho culture centered around guns. Australia is a nation of prisoners and guards.

It remains to be seen how the madness pans out, but I suspect that culture will become increasingly important. What was once a well coordinated push for tyranny, with every nation following UN recommendations, is becoming something of a cultural revival. Every nation, state and district is responding in ways unique to their culture.

The parallels with the fall of Rome are striking. The Goths are emerging from Scandinavia. The Suebis are doing their thing. Huns are on the move. Things are getting tribal. It's a mish mash of cultures, and no clear strategy. Left unchecked, centralized power will disintegrate, with hundreds of tiny nations taking its place, each ruled in accordance to its own local culture.

Lone Wolf Paranoia

I never click on the "See Photo" button when Facebook warns me: "Sensitive content. This photo may show violent or graphic content."

However, when an anarchist friend of mine suggested I take a look at a grayed out picture, I did just that, and I was amazed to see that it was a picture of a flower. Clearly, it wasn't the picture that had caused Facebook censors to gray it out. The offensive nature of the image was the accompanying text, which said: "Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone."

Apparently, having personal beliefs is now so dangerous to the censors that they actively suppress the idea. The censors are suffering from lone wolf paranoia, as I predicted some six weeks ago. Their mental meltdown is on full display, and it's rather amusing to watch.

Volcanos and Bubbles

These live streams of the La Palma volcano are fascinating to watch. A small mountain appeared within a week. Then, the entire side of this newly created mountain collapsed, letting loose a flood of lava. The terrain surrounding the volcano is changing by the minute, and this looks likely to continue for weeks to come. The eruption is getting stronger. There's no sign of any letup in the pressures driving the eruption.

There're several things to note from a geological perspective. One thing I hadn't realized before is that volcanos are not created primarily from lava. They are heaps of rocks and gravel tossed out the central vents. These heaps solidify into solid rock as they cool.

There are two types of vents. Some are primarily ejecting hot gases and loose rocks. Others are oozing with lava. In the case of the La Palma volcano, it started with a small fissure oozing lava on a hillside. Then a fissure opened up a little higher up the hill to let out hot gas, and it was this vent that ended up creating the small cone-shaped mountain that we now have.

With more pressure, the fissures became more energetic. Lava filled up in a cauldron eroded into the mountain, and the gas vent threw rocks ever-father away. When the pressure increased even more, a new fissure opened up between the two original ones. The top of the mountain changed its topography to accommodate for the extra pressure.

Things looked like they would continue as before, only with more force. However, when I checked on the volcano this morning, the entire side of it had collapsed. The cone shape was damaged. A deep furrow had been carved out by the lava flow.

Volcanos don't always build, they tear things down too. Lava flows are erosive. They carve into rock. What is built up over weeks are sometimes destroyed in minutes. Geological time is not always measured in millions of years. A few hours are sometimes enough to change a landscape completely.

This tendency towards catastrophic change is not unique to volcanos. Many things behave this way. Things can look stable for years before they erupt, and when they erupt, the problem may look manageable. The Evergrande debacle in China appears to be of this kind. It has been carefully managed. Damage has been directed outwards. Evergrade itself is being unwound. Banks in China have the full backing of the Chinese state. Everything looked manageable.

But then, like a volcano, the bottom fell out of the Chinese housing market, and there's nothing anyone can do to mitigate the damage. China's housing bubble is too big to save. It's estimated to involve some $60 trillion dollars in assets. Not even China can come up with enough money to prop this thing up.
