A Bitcoin is a nothing with a price on it. It is a scarce nothing, but nonetheless a nothing.
But what is the correct price of a nothing? That's anybody's guess. As soon as a nothing is priced above zero, it can be anything, because dividing a number by zero is undefined.
This is the true reason for Bitcoin's tremendous volatility. It is a nothing with a price. Any price can be deemed the correct price of a nothing once the nothing has been allowed to have a price. Its price can be anything for the simple reason that its value is zero, and for some reason, this fatal flaw in Bitcoin's design is judged as its greatest strength.
We are truly living in a delusional world.
